Information for Ventriloquists

If you were at this year’s conVENTion, several vents stressed the benefits of targeting one or two primary venues for your vent work. This document was compiled at a previous convention and lists some of the major venue opportunities open to vents.

It also includes a “Performance Evaluation” sheet which vents can make available near the doors of the room where they are performing. The vent should encourage audience members to fill out an evaluation and leave it in a specific area when they leave.

These types of evaluations are an invaluable tool in helping amateur vents learn where their performance strengths and weaknesses are … pointing them to the area’s of their craft that need to be improved … or verifying that they are ready to go out into the world and start making $ with their vent skills.

Our good friend and Packer fan Dan Geoden, (left) accompanied us to Jeff’s show. Jeff couldn’t help from displaying his Texas roots by good-naturedly pointing out that the Cowboys had defeated the Packers that night.
